Day Trip to Cairo by Air from Hurghada



Take a short flight to Cairo to view the spectacular Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza; discover the golden treasures of Tutankhamun at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and haggle for wares in Cairo’s oldest and most colourful street market.

Leave the warm waters of the Red Sea behind you on this delightful day trip to Egypt’s colourful capital. On arrival in Cairo, head to the Plateau of Giza for the chance to see the stunning Great Pyramids and mystical sphinx. The last remaining wonders of the ancient world, the pyramids are said to be constructed from millions of blocks of limestone and have stood on this site for nearly 5000 years. Your experience will be enhanced by your expert guide who will provide a fascinating insight to the history of this magical site. Before your return flight to Hurghada, head to the lively Khan-el-Khalili bazaar, to soak up the sounds, smells and atmosphere Cairo’s oldest street market. Good buys include handmade gifts, leather goods, spices and Egyptian fabrics.
