This tour takes you to two of the most impressive Luxor temples.

As you explore the Karnak Temple, you’ll come across a huge hall with 134 intricately carved columns and relics of ancient Egyptian dynasties. At the centre of the complex is a sacred lake, where you’ll see a big statue of a scarab (a beetle considered divine by ancient Egyptians) that dates back to the reign of King Amenhotep III.

The construction of the temple of Luxor began during the reign of Amenhotep II; it was expanded by King Ramses II. At the entrance is a huge tower built by King Ramses II.

Dendera and Abeydos - Tour from Luxor

This remarkable show presents the history of the Karnak temple in commentary, light and music. It narrates the chronicles of the eternal city of Thebes (now known as Luxor), whose ancient monuments are living testimony to its historical importance. The show starts with the story of the founding of the city of Thebes and the birth of Karnak.

The scene then shifts to the works commissioned by the Great Pharaoh, followed by a poetic description of the biggest edifice ever known to have been erected on pillars. Real events from the past are retold as a story to bring alive the history of the Karnak Temple.

After sunset, you will be picked up in an air-conditioned vehicle from your hotel in Luxor. You will be taken for a sound and light show at Karnak Temples.

Dubai Balloon Adventure

Experience the spectacular red dunes and mountain scenery from the air as you gently float across the desert landscape in a hot air balloon.

Head across the desert in the pre-dawn darkness to the launch site in the desert. As the sun slowly rises over this beautiful sandy landscape, the gas burners are ignited and the balloon slowly comes to life. Soon you will be soaring into the immense blue of the desert sky and enjoying magnificent views of the rugged Hajj Mountains to the east and the 21st century Dubai skyline to the west.
